ABLE Programs Support Coordinators can assist in navigating your way through and understanding your NDIS Plan. We can connect you with local supports and services that may assist you with your Allied and General Health, Education, Work requirements, Legal advice, Skill and Capacity Building and Community Connectivity.
Assisting people with disability and their families during the process of transitioning from school to after school, into gainful employment, into independent living, and everything in between.
Recently, at ABLE Programs we have be promoting activities and events in the community that are all inclusive.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting up with Sandra from the Townsville Hike and Explore group. At the start of this year she began a walk with this community group that was inclusive to everyone, no matter their ability. Whilst, the group is quite small at the moment we are joining forces to bring awareness to this awesome activity that is available for everyone in the community.
Last month we headed down to the walk with some of our participants who walked, rolled and socialised with the group. Not to mention the ice cream at the end!
This months walk is on the 12th of December at 5.30pm down at the Palmetum. Will we see you there?
